Terms of Use

The terms for creating, painting, purchasing and sharing digital artwork with Paint Craft.

Policy version: 2026-11-05.2. By using Paint Craft, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. There is no mandatory acceptance popup or checkbox. Analytics and advertising settings can be changed through Privacy choices.

What Paint Craft Is

Paint Craft converts photos into free Easy canvases for online painting and paid digital downloads. It creates stylised, automatically generated artwork, not a hand-painted commission or an exact photographic reproduction. Features may change, but nothing in these terms excludes the artwork guarantee below or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any photos you upload and artwork you create using Paint Craft.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any photos you upload. Do not upload photos that you do not own or do not have permission to use, especially if you intend to sell or commercially distribute the resulting artwork.

Content Moderation

Paint Craft reserves the right to review generated canvases, thumbnails, and associated metadata to prevent misuse of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, detecting and removing content that is:

  • Illegal, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of exploitative content
  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene
  • Depicting violence, abuse, or harm
  • Infringing on the rights of others

We may use automated systems, manual review, or both to identify prohibited content. If prohibited content is detected, we may remove it, suspend access to the service, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

Accounts

An account is optional for Easy online painting and required for paid artwork purchases and account-protected downloads. Keep your details accurate and your credentials secure. Children should use the creative tools with a parent or guardian; purchases must be authorised by an adult. Request account deletion through Support.

Data Collection

Essential account, purchase, delivery, support and security processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Analytics and advertising are enabled automatically for new visitors, while previously saved opt-outs are respected. Analytics can be linked to your device and account email; it is not anonymous. Turning either setting off does not prevent painting or purchases. Change either through Privacy choices. Automatic defaults are not recorded as explicit consent. Do not include sensitive information in feedback unless necessary to explain your request.

Masterpiece Digital Purchases

Masterpiece is a one-time digital purchase per canvas at your local checkout price. It includes an automatically completed digital artwork PNG (4,000px longest edge), numbered canvas PDF and paint-colour list PDF. Download links are emailed after payment confirmation and files are available through your account. This is not a hand-painted commission or a physical kit. Printing, materials and shipping are not included; third-party costs vary. Contact support with your order reference if delivery fails.

Easy Exports and Printing

Easy online painting is free. Each saved PDF, PNG or SVG export is a separate purchase at the price shown before checkout. A purchase covers that exact format and version; repeat downloads of the stored file are free from Order History. Changes to artwork or export settings may require a new purchase. Hints do not pay for downloads. Local painting progress stays on your device and can be lost if browser storage is cleared.

Printing guidance accompanies artwork-delivery emails. Download original purchased files, preserve the image aspect ratio and check a proof before ordering a large print. Results depend on your source image, print size, paper, ink and equipment. Screen colours, print colours and physical paints can differ. Printing, framing, physical materials and shipping are supplied separately by third parties.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee or Free Recreation

Not happy with your paid artwork? Within 30 days of purchase, choose a refund or one free recreation of the same photo. Contact Support with your order reference and your preferred option. Requests are handled manually. Hint packs and third-party printing are excluded; your statutory rights are unaffected.

This applies to paid Masterpiece packages and paid Easy artwork exports. Submit your request through Support within 30 days of the recorded purchase date, include the order reference, and choose either a refund of that artwork purchase or one free recreation using the same source photo—not both under this voluntary guarantee. There is no additional artwork charge for that one recreation. Our team will arrange fulfilment after checking the order; refunds and recreations are not automatic. We do not promise a completion time or a bank processing time. If the source photo is no longer available, we may ask you to supply it securely again. This does not limit any additional remedy required by law.

Purchases and Hints

Hints may be purchased through our third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your card or payment-account details. Hint-pack purchases are excluded from the voluntary artwork guarantee and are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Promotional or bonus hints have no cash value and may be adjusted or withdrawn to correct errors or abuse.

Affiliate Links and Advertising

Some outbound links on Paint Craft are affiliate links (including the Amazon Associates program), which means we may earn a commission when you make a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you. Paint Craft may also show optional rewarded ads. These help keep the service free and do not influence the paint-by-numbers tool itself.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload, process, or create content that is illegal, pornographic, or exploitative
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Misrepresent Paint Craft's capabilities or claim official affiliation
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service

Selling Your Artwork

You are free to sell or distribute artwork you create with Paint Craft, provided you have the rights to the source photos. Paint Craft does not handle payments between you and your customers, host an artwork marketplace, or take commission on your external sales. Any sales you make are entirely between you and your customers, using external platforms of your choice.

Illustrative Stories and Customer Feedback

Gifting stories on the home page are labelled illustrative ideas. They are not customer testimonials, verified purchases or star ratings. We do not represent them as evidence of actual customer results.

Feedback and Submissions

Feedback you submit through the feedback form may be used to improve Paint Craft. We will not publicly display your feedback without your explicit consent. Email addresses provided through the feedback form are kept private.

Limitation of Liability

Paint Craft is provided as a creative resource with free and paid features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of Paint Craft are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or inability to access the service.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The page shows the current policy version. Continued use is subject to the current terms without a mandatory acceptance popup; analytics and advertising preferences remain separately adjustable, and saved opt-outs are preserved. The purchase terms shown when an order was placed continue to govern that order, subject to applicable law.
